Question

Answer
May I cooperate with you?

Of course you can! You can contact us by filling in the form which will come out when you click on the "contact us" link; please specify that you are applying for cooperation. In this way you will be able to express your opinion and to submit your piece of work.

Is cooperation paid for?

Unluckily it is not. Neither Antrocom administrators nor publishers are paid a wage: they are all volunteers knit by their enthusiasm for anthropology.

How can I be sure that you will not violate the intellectual property of my works?

If you decide to publish on Antrocom it means that you are willing to share your ideas and your works. For a matter of conduct, if you send us your materials you transfer your copyright to us. The intellectual property, by the law, belongs to you alone at any time.
What you give is the possibility to use the materials in the most useful way for the journal and for the Antrocom Association.
Sometimes it may happen that a piece of work, mostly for editorial reasons has to be modified in its form or contents. In any casa as soon as the article is published we always ask the Author if any change is needed.
Moreover it may happen that other sites ask for the publication of some extracts, and the answer of the Author is not likely to be always that quick.
The redistribution of the works is carried out following the copyleft principles, so they are protected by the copyright. Although it is not possible for us to guarantee the same behaviour form other readers.

Why cooperate with Antrocom?

The sharing of knowledge helps anthropology as a discipline, but also all those people which don’t have the possibility to attend proper courses. Antrocom is based on the “copyleft” sharing of contents and on the free enjoyment especially by all the community members.
Sharing also means to create a space of visibility for oneself, useful to become known in the sector of anthropology, be it physical or cultural. In this way the journal is a sort of window for oneself and one’s work. Therefore it is possible to let professionals and enthusiast know you , which may always be useful. The more contributions the journal receives, the more possibilities you have to draw attention to yourself.
